"I really want to make it in life, but I don't know how!" Not knowing how to set up for a successful future can be frustrating. Here are a few suggestions. Steps 1 Go to a quiet place , where you can think without being interrupted. Ad 2 Go through your life thoroughly. What is your gift? What do you want to be in the future? What is your passion? (i.e., something you would love to do even if you were not paid to do it.) 3 Write it down. Most of the people who have achieved their dreams took the first step towards achieving them: they wrote them down. 4 Plan a route to get there. And on an even more subtle level we can define a goal like this: A compelling goal is something that has a deeper meaning to you.
